Return air noise???

Not 100% sure I have the right forum here, hopefully I do. I am looking into buying a new home. The home has a couple of return air vents. There is a faint humming noise coming from these return air vents when the furnace is on. Is this normal or is there a problem? If so can you give me a clue, the builder says it is normal, but I can't hear this in any other home?

Lots of ifs here. First can or could the grill be bigger there on the wall not the duct behind it? Some times just back out the screws that hold it to the wall help. Then you can like turn each fin just a little and it will stop.

You might have what they call the grill resonates and make a sound
