Replacing ceiling light with spotlights (single fitting) - eventually i got it to switch on but not compltetly off, the bulbs are still on (though dim) even with the wall switch in the off position?? The fact that they switch on withought tripping the fuseboard suggests that it is wired correctly. It is a loop-in system with three 3-core cables coming through the ceiling and I had to remove the ceiling rose to fit the lamp.Inside the lamp there is just a simple 3-way plastic connector block (extremely difficult to squeeze 3 wires in each one). Any help would be appreciated. :wall:

You need to tell us how it is wired.
Where does the power comne in? Switch? light?
How are the switches and lights cabled and connected?
You have something wrong or the lights would go off.
