We are finishing our basement and painted last night (we primed the night before). One of the inside corners must have missed a coat of mud because the tape was exposed and even though the corner was flat before, the area where the tape was exposed has bubbled out and the outside of the tape came away from the wall, leaving a nice crack about 6" long :(
Any ideas how I can fix this up?

Put tape over tape that has lifted up and already has paint on it? Won't that make that part of the corner bump out noticebly quite a bit? Does not sound like the best idea.. Maybe I'll just cut that bubbled tape out and fill it in with mud..

You need to cut out the raised part, then mud and tape. If you just fill with mud, it is apt to crack.
