I just bought a home and the roof is only 7 years old. I noticed condensation on the ceiling in the bedroom around the highhats. There is very little to no room in between the ceiling and the roof. I was wondering what might be causing this problem. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Don't know where you live but one possibility might be that the warm moist air from people just living in a house-cooking,showering, heat etc may be condensing around the light when it is off and not warm[cool air from the attic entering through the hole. May be a question for the electrical forum on how to deal with it, but keeping the cold air in the attic seems like a good start. That is if it is cold up there. There is more moisture in your air than you think. If the condensation is only around the highhats than it is more than likely not the roof imo.
