I replaced my gas water heater a year ago and had a regulator put on the line coming into the house. I did not replace the expansion tank. When the hot water heater heats up, the pressure in all the line increases until I open up a spigot to relieve the pressure. This is causing applicances to leak. Whats up. Is there something wrong with the expansion tank?

Id say expansion tank bladder is gone and the tank is water logged Put a new expansion tank in. when the water gets hot it expands now and has no where to go
