I purchased a home with a safe watch 3000, and are not wanting to have it monitored. But would like to have the audible alarms. Problem is they want $99.00 for the first 30 minutes to reset the master code since I do not have it. Can anyone help???

If it's a typical ADT install, the installer code will be 6321. Enter the following keystrokes; do not hesitate more than a second or so between keystrokes, or the panel will ignore you:
Installer Code + [8] + 02 + New master code.
You can test the installer code by entering the number and the arming command (you can arm and disarm with the I-code if no other method of arming has been used first).

Glad to help.
Pretty much any security gear retailer will have what you need. Any 12v siren will do the trick. Ideally, you want to run a new homerun to the panel and connect to the same terminals as the existing siren (terminals 3 & 4), but if it's impractical, you can pick up the circuit at the back of the existing device. Just remember that they are polarized devices.
