I have a 100 year old stucco house, with 15" walls. The bathroom ceiling keeps molding, despite sealing it with oil-base primer and painting it with oil-based paint. I'd put a fan in, but drilling through 15" stucco walls to vent it seems like a tall order. Can I replace the current ceiling light with a heat lamp? Would that be effective? What are the other options? Thanks!!

gwynnerogers,

Heat lamp is not going to do much for you. You really need a good exhaust fan that will remove the moisture. There's no easy alternative that would be as good as a fan.

Good Luck!
