Hi, Just installing a simple ceiling light fixture and having a problem with the bulbs being dim so i think i have wired it wrong. The light is a simple dome light with 2 bulbs- each bulb has a black and white wire. When i removed the old light fixture in my new house it contained 3 wires each with a black and white wire. The old light was a single bulb it had just a white/black. It was wired to the housing as follows white to white and 2 blacks together to the the black from the fixture. 2 whites and 1 black were wired together and crimped and left in the housing .

I wired the new light as follows- Used the same wires as previously done in the old fixture - the 2 blacks together to the black from the one light bulb and white to white. On the other side i wired the 2 whites togehter with the with from the fixture and the black to the black. Now i hope that is not too confusing. ... the light turns on but is dim? Any ideas?

It is a bit confusing.
You should take the two blacks from the fix and connt tham together where the black from your old fixture was connted. Take the two whites and connect them together where the white from your old fixture was.
