My dad has recently had a new immersion heater fitted and now pieces of insulation are coming out of the hot taps. His plumber says that this is only plumbers flux but my understanding is that plumbers flux is a soldering glue and nothing to do with pieces of insulation. Can somebody please tell me how insulation material can get into the tank and what can we do to fix the problem. Thanks.
