Frigidaire Model Gas Oven.
I am a home owner and a landlord, both my oven and my tenants oven were having the same problems, Glow Coil/Bar was lighting but oven was coming on.
I checked amps and determined that the glow coil wasn't allowing enough amps through the circuit to open the gas valve, I have replaced both of them.
My stove now works find, but my tenants stove still will not light and I am now a bit out of ideas as to what to do ?

Hello RJB5270 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliances topic.
First thing I suggest is switching hot surface ignitors between ovens and note any difference. If the same condition exists, chances are the gas valve in the problem oven (tenants) is the cause.
If the condition changes and that oven works, the removed hot surface ignitor may be glowing too weakly and be a defective ignitor.
Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.
Additional Suggestions:
Read the manufacturers online web site for product information, problem possibilities, solving methods, repair and or owners manuals, which may be available online.
