I have a Kenmore Washing Machine that will only fill...it then has a slight humming noise and I believe I smell a slight burning smell.
It is Model #110.23032100 - I believe it's made by Whirlpool.
It won't agitate, won't spin. I've manually taken the water out.
It is only 2 years old. Looking at the back it is Direct Drive. I've been reading the previous posts here and elsewhere...do you think it's the motor coupler. Should I start there? Thanks.

PROBABLY THE TIMER ... IF IT WAS THE COUPLER IT WILL STILL PUMP OUT WATER BUT NOT SPIN... :coffee:

It WILL pump the water into the tub...but that's it.

CHECK THE WIRE CONNECIONS AT THE MOTOR AND REMOVE THE PUMP FROM THE MOTOR AND TRY RUNNING IT... MAY BE SMALL ITEM IN THE PUMP... :coffee:
