Electronic Alarms and Home Security Devices - Vista 20p

Hello everyone,

I need an Ademco/Honeywell Guru. I have 2 VISTA 20P alarm system (one of them is an old version with rev 1.5 the other one is a rev 3.0)

Both of them seems to work fine, prog seems to be ok.

All i want is to connect them to a security call station in order to monitor my alarms.

To do so I programmed my primary phone number to be the call station, i have choosen my protocol, the dialer delay.

I connected my phone line to pin 23 & 24 (i do not have a telephone handset on it, that is a dedicated phone line)

When I test the alarm, the central is dialling ok, but the central station does not seems to have any ack from my vista 20 ( 2300 Hz and 1400 Hz are sent from the central station)

I tried to use a software called myid in order to test the system myself, myid reply to the phone call, send the 2300 a 1400 Hz carrier, and I do not have any reply from my vista 20P.

i have the same thing with both my vista 20 (rev 1.5 and rev 3.0). I tried several protocol (ademco, radionics, extended ...), with the same negative result.

So what am i doing wrong. Is someone knows the myid software. Is it a cabling problem?

Which specific format are you trying to connect with? Did you set the reporting codes for the zones and features you wish to report? Did you program the account number in *43?
