I have a panasonic dvd player lately we will be watching a movie & the screen will go black. At first I thought it was the dvd , but this has happened on every dvd we watch.

Does it happen after a fixed period of time? Will it go blank exaclty at the same point if you had to restart the same DVD from the start? Did you try hooking up the DVD player with another TV set? It could either be a fault in the TV or a loose connection in the cables between the DVD and TV.

I checked the connections first, every thing was okay. I haven't had a problem with the tv set, it is fine when watching tv. It seems that the black screen happens at different times. I will check this though.
