Any SoftPlan Lite users?

Hi all! Are there any softplan lite users here? I'm learning the program, and I think I'm going to wear out my welcome with their tech support department if I direct *all* my questions there. Hopefully I can find some sort of SoftPlan community so we can help each other out.

My current problem is that I can't get dimensions to display. I drew a simple deck plan, and used the Dimesion Group command to dimension the whole thing. Extension lines show up like expected, but there are no dimensions or dimension lines inside the extensions. It prints the same way.

In your drawing, click the Options at the top and then check Visible Items - make sure that your dimensions and extensions are checked.

I don't have Softplan Lite but Full Softplan.

This should do it.

Sorry Mark. I failed to realize that when doing decks, Auto Dimension will not work. You must manually place the extensions. I'm sure this is the way of SP Lite.

Ah well, at least it's not totally broke. I'll go figure out how to place dimesions manually then. It'll be educational for me. :)

I did end up dimesioning the deck just with shapes - lines, arrows and notes. I assume that you are refering to something else?

You should be able to use the Dimensions - Group Extensions but what about the single extension? Is it usable?
