I dont do much alarm , mostly voice and data

customer is requesting a "panic button" at the desk of a small motel that would call police silently in the event of a problem.

I talked to the rep at ADI who suggeted a small alarm panel , he said we couldnt call police direct but would have to have it monitored (makes sense)

so my question is if Panic button is pushed dose the monitor staion call police direct or do they call the site and verify first ?

You can coordinate with the monitoring station on how you want them to respond. Most panic buttons are dispatched immediately without verification.

Hope this helps.
