whirlpool dryer not drying

our dryer stopped drying so i took it apart and cleaned out the internal duct, and the lint trap the pipe and the hood, i notice for the first few mins the clothes get warm but after that there always cool. and i notice the timer is staying in the same spot. any help? i have an ohm volt meter somewhere around the house, thanx

Quite often if you get heat at first but later on you don't it's a bad burner coil on the burner assembly. They will ohm out good at first but when it fails to light you can ohm test the coils, and one of them will have an open cicuit, or infinite ohms. There are coil kits that have both coils so you can change them both out at the same time. Scott
