I just installed a drop ceiling in my basement. I used fiberglass panels. Armstrong I think. I liked them because they were light weight and had more flex so I could leave less clearance and kind of jam the tiles in as opposed to rigid tiles that would have needed more room. My question is there a disadvantage to the fiberglass tiles as opposed to regular ceiling tiles.??

You'll just need to be more cautious when cleaning than had you used the rigid vinyl coated.
