I have a 15 year old dehumidfier that hasn't been used all that much but has never given me any trouble until now. when I run it now, the colis on the back are freezing up. After running it for several hours, I return to find only white ice on the coils and an empty pan. Does anyone know if there is something I can look at to fix it or is it time to buy a new one? Thx.

Some where or some how you have a leak in it. Just ice there means its low on freon. Id say better to get a new one. Cost less in the long run.

Thanks Ed, I didn't think it would be worth tearing apart.
