Register Extension

I'm remodeling our guest room and would like to move the bed under a window. The problem is that the heat/air register is also under the window. I don't want to block the regsiter(the only one in the room). Is there any way I can make my own register extension? The only extensions I've found premade are designed to fit over a floor register. The duct in the room is in the floor, but the register is not flat to the floor.Any ideas would be appreciated!

How or where do you want it to go. ?The heat from this baseboard register. If you can get to it below move the boot out in the room about 1" and a floor register should slip in it just build up behind it in the floor. Not sure what you have .But Id let it alone air from it will get out from under the bed. Just dont have to much over hang from the bed covers
