my mtd millieum 15.5 38'' mower left rear wheel is frozen to axle. tried everything even a little heat to remove it w/o killing the tire and rim . . . need to remove to insert tube . . .

MTDs are probably the worst about that. It can be very hard to remove the wheel. I've even had to cut some of them off. What I do is pick the mower up on the side a bit and install the tube while the wheel is still on the mower. It's not really much, if any, harder to do than it would be with the wheel off.
