When I use the opener to open the door, the door begins to buckle halfway up. I have a feeling it has to do with the adjustments on the opener. There are two screws? with lines in the middle. I would like to know what position these should be in to allow the door to open properly. This may not even be the problem. Help!
If you disconnect the door from the motor, does the door still "buckle"?
What your describing is a problem with the door itself and not the opener.

With the door on manual it does not buckle. When the motor was connected and it was going up the last time I used it, it did cause some damage. I don't understand why I can raise it manually but not with the motor connected.
What size is the door and what is it made of, any type of metal/vinyl door MUST HAVE a reinforcement across the top section when an opener is connected to it. Normally any door over 12 feet will come with a reinforcement installed on it.
