Moisture in bathroom caused the paint on the ceiling to bubble. We steamed the bathroom and scraped all the loose paint off we could. Now we are going back over the ceiling with Kilz before repainting it. With the Kilz up, I can see the uneven surface from where the previous paint was scraped off in places and not in others.
Is this going to show once we get the ceiling painted?
If so, I feel like it won't look good, or right.
What should be done to make it smooth and uniform?

Yes it will show. Use drywall mud or spackling to smooth it out then reprime. You also need to adress the moisture problem. Best bet install an exhaust fan otherwise leave door open after finishing in the shower to let the steam disapeate as soon as possible.

We did have an exhaust fan installed, so it shouldn't happen again.
