Hi,
This may be a dumb question but I am installing a bathroom in my basement and realize that code now call for a vent in it (no window). My problem is that I am in a townhouse, and my condo assoc. requires any external renovations (i.e. a new vent hole in the side of the exterior wall) to be done by a professional. So I am looking for a way around this. Could one tie the bathroom vent ducting into the cold air vent that comes in from the outside? Or would this cause problems due to the humidity in the air from the bathroom?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

No way vent the bath fan to the cold air. In fact code calls for no cold air intake in the bath. I guess you can say this stinks cause you have to vent to the outside :D
