I have an older tv that doesn't have AV jacks.A dish Antenna and the receiver for the dish is hooked Sat. in,tv out to DVD/VCR (Sony)combo.Wife went and bought a DVD Recorder.I took the out to tv cord from the dvd/vcr combo and put it to the dvd recorders input jack.and installed a cable from the dvd recordr's out put to the tv.I turn off the Sat.Reciever.Turn on the vcr combo to channel 4.the tv to channel 4.I turned on the dvd recorder,it turns on but when I click the set up button on the recorders remote nothing happens.I used channel3 and 4 both on the dvd recorder.I get nothing but snow on tv screen.Even tried turning the dish receiver on and don't get any thing even then.What am I doing wrong?
