The exterior of my house has cladding that has oxidised.
How do I know? - when I wipe my finger over the cladding there is cladding colour on my finger. I *think* it a coated alluminum cladding that I guess is about 20yrs old.

I have applied sugar-soap and this has cleaned the cladding very good, but the oxidiation is still there.

What is the best way to Prep the surface before painting?

Thanx in advance

It is tough to get the oxidation completely off. This is a great product.

Clean the surface as well as you can. I assume what you call oxidation I know as chaulk. Oil primer will bind this up or add Flood's emulsabond to latex. It is very important to remove or neutralize chaulk or the paint won't adhere well.
