Ibought a lathe that needed rewiring it had burnt up. I have replaced all the wiring. This item is equipped with a forward and reverse switch there are 2 sets of 3 wires coming from the switch. I would like to know how to do the final joining of the wires. I will very much appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Bob

I see you have had 12 views of this post, including mine, but no answers so far. I think you haven't had any bites because there is insufficient information upon which to base any advice. What is required is an original manufacturer's wiring diagram. My only suggestion, without more detailed information from you , would be to try to find the make and model of your lathe and Google it.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Bob,

Juicehead is right in that you will need a wiring diagram.
If you do not have one for the lathe then the schematic for the motor that shows how to connect for reversing rotation would work as well.

If the lathe burnt did you replace the motor and reversing switch?
