I am planning to remove vinyl siding from the front of a 90 year-old brick rowhouse. The siding is attached to wood furring strips that are nailed or screwed into the brick. Once I remove everything, I will be left with the little nail holes. Is it OK to leave these holes, or will they open the bricks to weather damage? If I need to repair the holes, what can I use to fill them? It's red brick, and if possible I'd like the filler to match the color.

Thanks very much for your help.
