Hi folks!
I'm getting water in my basement, so I want to try laying down some dirt near the foundation to try to grade it away from the house. My concern is whether or not this puts me at greater risk for termites. I don't plan to raise the overall height of the surrounding near the foundation more than maybe 6 inches.
This is in conjunction with fixing a malfunctioning gutter as well, in case someone wanted to suggest it :)
Any thoughts? Pitfalls someone might know of I should consider?
