Hi,
I'm painting a hallway wall that ends on a landing and it's a light tan color paint. On the landing, where the hallway wall meets another wall, I've changed to a dark green color for the remainder of the landing walls. The two walls form a 90 degree angle, with one side being tan, and the other side being Green. I'm painting the interior of the corner. **Note: The walls come together between two door moldings so there isn't but about 2" on each side of the corner.
I'm having a difficult time getting a crisp line between colors at the corner. I'm generally good at cutting-in with a brush, but now that both sides are painted, it almost creates an optical illusion and I'm having a difficult time seeing exactly where the corner is - to cut-in to touch-up the corner. Is using tape my only option - i.e., taping over the light tan color into the corner and doing a light touchup with the darker green color? Any advice would be great.
Thanks - Nibsey

In this case, tape might be needed to get it right. Pull the tape immediately after painting.
