Is it necessary to Polyurathane kitchen cabinets after you paint them. I have heard of some people doing this. What are the benefits and what if you don't?
I am such a pest--but I want to get it right.

If you used a high-quality durable finish paint, then its not really necessary. I only do it if they are going to take a lot of abuse.
