Hello and thank you in advance for your help. I own a 1997 Kenmore 70 Series washer built by Whirpool. I do not have agitation during knit delicate or for the slow half of the Regular wash cycle as per the manual, "Regular wash cycle is 4 mins. of fast agitation and 6 mins. slow agitation." It appears to have lost the "slow" agitation of the the "two speed" motor. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what to troubleshoot for. Is it motor related ... drive related ... or maybe cycle timer related?? I just want to know where to start, before I dig in. Thank you in advance for the help ... especially to the gurus around here ... you know who you are !

Slide machine out (un-plug) tip back and look to the right of the motor there is a connector for 2 wires may be seperated and also make sure the motor harness connector is seated tightly... sometimes a un-balanced loads will work them loose.. :coffee:
