i have alot of rooms that need painting
should I paint all first and then do trim?
i just want the fastest way

Yeah, I've found it's faster and easier to paint walls before the trim is installed. Also faster to paint (or stain and finish) the trim before you put it up.

I paint the ceilings first, then all the trim except the baseboard, then wall and base last. This is assuming you are talking about repainting. New work prime everything first. If staining then finish walls before trim is nailed up.
