18 months ago, I bought a Samsung HDTV for about 900 cocos. :eek: Just last week, when i turned it on one night the screen colors were distorted with the primary colors (red, green, yellow, and blue) in a circle with a good picture in the "bullsey" in the middle. The clear (good) spot is only about 5 inches in daimeter. The Sears repair man came out and waved an electromagnetic device in front of the screen. This fixed it for the evening. First thing saturday, when i turned it on, it was back to its old colorful self :wall: The tech said it would need a tube if it did it again, and that a power surge was the most likely suspect. Your thoughts?
