HI , I have a maytag stack unit model mlg2000aww and the washer keeps turning even though the timer is on the off position. AND the door lock light is still on. Could it be the door lock mechanism or the wax motor? Thank you

The wax motor controls the door lock... if it not too old contact Maytag.. they were having class actions against them and they were sending parts to customers free of charge... most likely its combo of both door mech and machin control board.. Maytag has come out with a fix that has the motor and board together :coffee:
