Hello all. Thanks for this great form!! Lots of great infomation. I'm divorced and on a tight budget. I have a 78 artcraft that I just love. But I need a another bedroom. The park will only allow building an alluium three seasons room. A costly room to build, it look's like. Any ideas how I can fullfill the parks requirement and still get a spare bedroom on the sly? Do three seasons rooms have to be ALL windows??? Bty I live in the frozen trundra of Wisconsin. Thanks so much.

Three-season rooms are usually found in more southerly and non-extreme cold climates where rooms can be used for three seasons. These rooms tend not to be very well-insulated, primarily because they are mostly glass. Some of the better and more expensive brands claim that they are so energy efficient and insulated that they can be used four seasons. Now, they do not mention what location. These rooms are usually sold as kits and their intent is to extend the outdoor living season.

Begin by investigating what your neighbor's have as three-season rooms and how many months out of the year they use them. And, if anyone has one that is used year-round and as an extra sleeping area. Also, ask how much such they paid and how much it cost to install? Did they have to get a building permit?

Bunk beds or sleeper sofa in the livingroom might be a less expensive option if your budget is tight.

It's looking like it's a bad idea. I may trade up to a three bedroom unit. Or like you suggest, sleep in the liv'in room. Those sofa beds can reall kill ones back. (I have a select comfort in my room). thanks for the input.
