I am getting a new drive put in. The pump for my well is just a the end of the socalled existng drive. How do I go about locating this well. Do I go to the County and check out the plat books?? Any help would be appreciated.

If you are lucky, your deed or other paperwork relating to your house MIGHT like a measurement off your outside wall and the reference point for the measurement. Otherwise you need a metal detector to find it.
