I have a Kenmore dryer that works fine except that the buzzer will not shut off when the dryer is done unless you open the door. I am assuming that this is a switch or contact point that needs replaced.

Any ideas?

If the dryer panel settings are on 'automatic dry' then the buzzer will repeat its buzzing cycle until you open the door.

If you want the buzzer to buzz once and stop, then use the dryer panel 'manual' cycle settings.
