My wife and I are using a slate tile backsplash in our kitchen. One of the things we're concerned about is that splatter from our cooking will eventually discolor the tiles around the stove. We're wondering about what sort of sealant's would work best for us...

Best to check with the store that sold you the slate for their recommendation. Short of that I would recommend Aqua MIx Gold, sold at tile stores, some HD and maybe Lowes
