Redently a friend gave my family a 25 inch Zenith color TV. The only identification I can find on the TV is "SEq Stereo" and "System 3" on the front of the set. The problem is that the picture looks "red." I've tried adjusting the color with the remote (which has the letters 'MBR" on it), but nothing seems to be working. Is there something I'm missing in the color adjustment? :coffee:

keep pressing the menu, or button to scroll through the video settings until you find the TINT menu. the bar should be in the middle, but if needed put more to one side to make it more of the color you want.

Exactly, Kushba - ugh, I simply cannot pronounce your name! Yes, click the tint a couple times toward the green. Anywho, in addition to what "Kush" said, I would recommend the following settings:
Contrast/Picture: Min.|||||||||=|-------Max
Brightness: Min.|||||||||=--------Max.
Color: Min.||||||---=--------Max.
Tint(as above): Red.|||||||||=||------Grn.
Sharp/Detail: Min.|||||||||=|-------Max.
If you have the following:
SVM(Velocity Scan): OFF
Picture Presets: If on "sports" or "vivid", set to "Custom" or "OFF".
The less "enhancements" you have running, the truer the picture will be to life. Cutting back on the color, above, will help somewhat with that redness issues that is intentionally over driven at the factory to sell the set in the store!
Similar settings to mine, above, were shown to me by a broadcast tech who was gigging a show at a Marriott where I used to work. Helps to know the insider's secrets.
