Doing work in Florida.

I ahve been asked by a client of mine here in Pa. to remodel his condominium in Florida. What am I going to have to do in order to do work down there. I have e-mailed the state government but haven't had any reply.

You will have to get an out of state contractors permit. In lue of that, you will have to buy a daily construction permit. Wait for the State to reply.

on out of state contractors. With all the hurricanes there have been scams galore. So they are very leary of out of state contractors. One way may be to contact an existing FLA contractor and see if they will allow you to work under their license.

The way it is down here now Id just say forget it. You just dont know the red tape you have to go through. Like said find some one here and they like rent their #### and work under it .
