I need either detailed instructions or a link to a website on the mud system for installing 18x18 Travertine Marble. I already know how to install tile, taking a shot at marble for home project any help greatly appreciated.

The basics are going to be :
a minimum of 1 & 1/4" thickness for the mud bed throughout the whole room and even higher in areas where the existing floor drops away so look around the room and determine whether the floor can hold that kind of weight, plus the weight of the tile, and if it will create unmanageable step ups into the room from adjacent non tiled areas
You will still need to set the tile in white modified thinset
If you still want to proceed post back again and someone will pick up this thread to help you out. I'm leaving on vacation in the morning.
