I bought granite counters and a island counter at an auction in my area. I saved a lot of money, but now have to have it installed. I am trying to get an idea of what the going price would be to have the counters installed and the sink hole cut? I live in the NE (Ma.)
The rates I’ve seen advertised were product and installation. I’m looking for just installation.
What would be a reasonable price to cut the hole for an under the counter sink?
Can that be done on site?
What would be a reasonable price to install the counter? (about 30 sq ft)
Any help would be appreciated.

Really your best bet would be to call around. Some places probably won't want the job since they won't be selling any product. They should be able to cut the hole without taking it somewhere. If it were me, I would try doing it myself. I like looking for reasons to buy expensive tools. Maybe try to find someone who would do it on the side or at night for extra money. I haven't ever worked with slab counters or I would say go for it yourself. Call suppliers and see if they can recommend anyone to do the install.
