We are remodeling our bathroom. there is an old attick staircase that we are going to remove and probably turn into shelving space. The bathroom is about 11x10 and I want a corner tub, stand up shower and a nice vanity. ther is a 7x3.5 window and the other one has been taken out. I want to put the other window back in and have the corner tub unber the window. With this cause any problems. the window cill would almost be at the tub level.. very close. But the size of the windows is lovely and I would like to bring that back. any advice? the space is awful to deal with but I have always wanted a corner tub and am whilling to do what it takes to get one in. I am heart set on getting that window back in because my house looks like it lost an eye... you know the kind that have the two top windows, one on each side... well the window they took out to put in the tub that is there now is one of those and the house looks awfull. We just bought it and I was either thinking about putting shutters up to make it look a little better or jsut puttin gthe window back in..

thanks in advance

loreyna,

You really didn't ask any question that we could answer here. Whomever is doing this work for you should be able to accommodate your needs. This is all baed on what you currently have and how it is going to be designed and laid out.

I would think that when applying for the permit, your designs would show exactly what is happening and what will be where. Headers, floor system issues all addressed.

If you want that window, then it should be considered a "must have" regardless.

Good Luck!

Yes that window is something I would love and will pay for, AI have not yet gotten started on the project yet and I have not designed the room yet. I want to make sure that everything will work out. I have dreamed of a huge tub since I was a kid. I need it!!! :p

Go for it! It sounds as though it would be very appealing!
