Planning on installing 16x16 Travertine in my home over terrazzo floor. Need any info on the mudding process or online links on do it your self instructions. I have been looking but cant find anything good. Appreciate for any help...

The Terrazzo needs to be stripped of all wax and sealer. Roughing it up with a grinding machine would help additionally. Then use a modified thinset rated for going over terrazzo, should be white in color so it does not stain or discolor the travertine. Check your local tile stores. Some of the top brands are Tec, Hydroment, Laticrete, Mapei and Custom. There are others too just as good.
