I have a magic chef oven running on LP gas (pilotless). When the oven hasn't been used for a while it will light up normally and usually maintain the proper temperature. Sometimes it doesn't maintain the proper temparture (a couple of times I was able to turn the oven off and restart it and then it properly maintained the temperature).

Also lately after the oven was turned on and succesfully relights, then the next time I turn it on it doesn't light up at all!

From all of the research I have done it appears that the Glow Ignitor is probably bad. Is this correct?

I would say you are right. are you able to take an amp read??

Don't have that kind of meter unfortunately.

I even tried switching the oven igniter with the broiler one and I still have the same problem :mad:
