 I was watching one of my recorded vcr tapes and all of a sudden it ejected. When I went to put it back in about a yard of tape was stuck inside the vcr. I was able to get it out, rewound it manually into the tape and re-inserted into vcr. It did the same thing. Is it my tape or do I need a new vcr? :( My unit is a dvd/vcr combo.
Thank you!

if the problem persists then my next guess is that the VCR section is in need of cleaning. You can try a wet-type head cleaner, but I don't think it will help much. I'm thinking that you will have to open it up and clean it yourself or take it to a shop and have it done. Post back or search on-line for directions on cleaning it.

It's possible that the VCR is actually broken, but most of the time it just neesds a good cleaning.

Hope this helps!
