I replaced the power steering pump on my 2000 3.8 Chevrolet Camaro. Now it whines. It whines bad. I did the proper bleed procedure, turn wheel with the car lifted back and forth like 60 times. The car runs fine cold, but after 15 minutes the pump howls. It can be heard at idle at at low-medium rpms screams (an electric sounding whine). I have no idea what might be wrong. I followed all procedures. Anyone have any idea?
Edit: I did a rebleed and theres a bunch of air in the system. I cannot get it out I turn the wheel and the fluid raises up like an inch but only a few big bubbles. I also noticed the boot is torn on the rack, here are some pics: http://www.lonestarthunder.com/boot/
Thanks,
John
