I have an old GE electric dryer

on the starter panel there is the knob that you turn for the time and on the left there are 5 buttons

start, perm press, those type buttons

well that start switch went on me and im trying to replace it yet i cant seem to find it anywhere

any moderators or veterans know of where i can find it.

You can look online for appliance repair/parts. There should be a place provided for the model number. This will then show you the part and/or the price.

You can also call your local appliance repair, give them the name of the part and the modle number. They can order it if its not in stock.

does anyone know what the "technical name" is for this part??

im having a diff. time trying to find the part cuz i think i dont know the actual tech. name for it
