hi all,

i have the Craftsman 33 gallon, 6 hp vertical air compressor, and i'm having some issues with it. I've used it only a couple of times with great success and have followed the directions that came with it from day one. I tried to use it this past weekend, put the pressure regulator knob simply will not turn! it easily turned before, but now it won't budge at all.

any suggestions aside from returning it to sears? i just don't want to deal with the hassle.

Some small regulators have a locking ring immediately below the adjustment knob. Maybe yours is locked.

Also it is possible that the adjustment was forced into its maximum or minimum position.
If you get full tank pressure after the regulator then it could be in the max pressure position.
It would be up to you to either try a bit more force to move it or take it back.

Besides the locking ring mentioned, some have a push/pull locking knob. Give it a pull or push to unlock it.
