I purchased a house 6 months ago with an ADT safewatch pro 2000 alarm system. I never recieved a book or any codes fromt he former owner. It had been set on chime for the past few months and all the sensors seemed to function properly. I thought the ADT installer was too pushy so I never used the alarm or activated the service, and I diconnected the phone line.
Recently I remodeled the basement and I had to move the ADT box. I disonnected the battery and unplugged the box. Now when I re-powered the box, the chime is off, but the ready light is on.
1. How can I reset the system and set no codes so that I can use the system as an inhome alarm with just the beeping and the chime?
2. Where can I find a user's manual for this system?
